bigfatbugfacebaby – ★★★★½
“One of the wildest aesthetic statements I’ve ever seen. The club acts are grotesque, funny, and sad all at once. Feels like a punch in the libido and the brain.” -
astrozombie – ★★★★
“Equal parts surreal cabaret and dystopian nightmare. It’s p0rn0 as performance art, and strangely melancholic. I can’t stop thinking about it.” -
FourthWallBreak – ★★★★
“A nightmarish fever dream that plays like David Lynch directing a sci-fi burlesque. Some of the most creative set designs I’ve seen in an adult film.” -
kataclysmic – ★★★★½
“The concept alone is brilliant, but the execution is what cements this as a true cult gem. Surreal, gross, and strangely touching.” -
bloodnchrome – ★★★½
“Surprisingly artful for what should be a sleazy sci-fi romp. Weird, horny, and philosophical—like 1980s midnight cable after too much absinthe.”
Meta Description:
Dive into the bizarre and erotic world of Cafe Flesh (1982)—a post-apocalyptic sci-fi cult classic where society watches the last sexually capable humans perform live. A surreal fusion of dystopia and desire wrapped in cabaret horror.

ScreenSlasher – ★★★★
“One of the most unique and surreal adult films ever made. It’s equal parts David Lynch and 80s MTV. Creepy, funny, and totally hypnotic.” -
DanColón – ★★★★½
“Nightdreams is like if Salvador Dalí directed a p0rn0. It’s erotic, unsettling, and completely insane. Pure midnight movie madness.” -
ElricKane – ★★★★
“Feels like a fever dream. Nightmare logic, rock music, and perverse fantasy rolled into one of the most audacious genre hybrids I’ve ever seen.” -
wetdryvac – ★★★★
“The editing is phenomenal and the set design is grotesquely beautiful. Wildly experimental and way ahead of its time.” -
deadenddrive-in – ★★★½
“This is either high art or the most insane thing ever committed to film. Either way, I was glued to the screen.”

-
dogfacedboy – ★★½
“Watched dubbed into French, as God clearly intended. I may have missed some of the plot nuances. As hardcore p0rn0 goes, this was fine, but as a follow-up to the surreal masterpiece of Nightdreams, and a Rinse Dream movie, it’s all just very normal.” -
Ruz_El – ★★★½
“The official follow-up to Dream’s original film starts off feeling like a step down from what came before. The first scene with Tianna and Tom Byron is fine, but it feels like normal p0rn0, not Rinse Dream P0rn0 despite the editing and styling. Then Tianna’s clit grows five inches like an antenna and things get a whole lot more interesting. It ends up being a fun film. Lauren Brice does a pretty good job as Dr. Sledge while clean-shaven Joey Silvera is unrecognizable as her cohort. Compared to the Dream films that came before, the cast isn’t quite up to the job in some cases, but that’s most likely a budget and p0rn0 production time issue. The look, style, and feel of this totally deliver and while it’s interesting on all levels, it feels more like a transitional film for Dream as he finds his footing in video.” -
weirdness fanatic – ★★
“I’m not sure how to rate this, I would recommend it I guess. Rather disappointing, a step down from the original in every way and I wouldn’t exactly call it good. But it’s still weird enough that it’s cool it exists at all. Tbh it gets a bit boring in a few places but it’s surreal and campy enough that it’s probably worth a watch if you liked the original.” -
Logical_Madness – ★★★
“Need more lesbian cowboys.” -

PeepShowPanther ★★★½
“Party Doll A Go-Go!: Part 1 and Part 2 are so stylish, quotable, and just ridiculously fun. Stephen Sayadian has this way of making everything look like a surreal, neon-drenched dream, and somehow, it all feels like high art. The dialogue is sharp in that cool, offbeat way that sticks with you, and very quotable.” -
Dave ★★★★½
“Dr Caligari was brilliant, this is just as amazing but in X-rated form. Wall-to-wall sex videos just do not get any better. The guys are all rocked up and fit, the women are scalding hot and, for the most part, have natural figures. They are all amazingly talented performers, so even though the sex lacks a little variety, it is sensational. The soundtrack is glorious sixties funk, with sound effects dubbed in and the fourth-wall-breaking eye contact and callouts are a superb touch.” -
AT0 ★★
“I guess the relatively high rankings here can be explained by the fact that a person willing to watch this is the kind of person who might find it interesting to begin with. But in the words of Ned Flanders, lousy beatniks. Or this is what I was thinking until the movie went meta and pretty much said the same thing. For a moment I thought oh ok I’m getting it now cool. But its been long since I’ve been impressed by a modicum of self-awareness. In any case, this is an awful lot to write about a literal hardcore porn movie. I’m quite proud of having finish this -sorta, I did fell asleep towards the end- because of how boring the schtick got and the sex was cringey 90s porn so not much fun to watch anyway.” -
mooncrypt ★½
“Ok, Dr Caligari is one of the best films ever made, but here the director went full on hardcore, like Cafe Flesh, but Cafe Flesh should be here, it has real content. This one is just a question of ridiculous obscenity vaguely saved by the most creative weird fashion out there.” -
