   “Tales of The Underworld proves once again that animation is the sweet spot for quality Star Wars content whilst demonstrating that one of the most interesting and compelling aspects of the galaxy lies in its stories revolving around the criminal underworld. Hopefully the success of these shorts leads to more similar content.”

   “Better than Tales Of The Empire, dare I say better than Tales Of The Jedi? I’ve quite enjoyed these anthology style Star Wars mini series despite never having fully seen any of Dave Filoni’s animated shows. Not gonna lie after the mixed bag that was Tales Of The Empire I went into this with pretty low expectations but I surprisingly enjoyed it much more than I thought I would, so much so that it might just be my favorite of the three.”

   “Maybe the real Tales of the Underworld were the friends we made along the way. They disneyfied Ventress. Still solid, but not nearly as good as Tales of the Jedi. Not as good as Tales of the Empire either as far as I remember, which seems like a lot of wasted potential because I like both Ventress and Cad Bane as characters more than Morgan and also a bit more than Barriss.”

   “I found it very nice to see Disney adapting the Dark Disciple story to Disney canon. While there were some aspects of the Asajj Ventress arc that I did like, I found the overall story to be a little underwhelming which may have been due to the length of the episodes.”
