“Loved this! A story that takes a layered look at what it is to be lost, & the different meanings surrounding it. The animation is genius-ly rendered, with subtle early cartoon & vintage Halloween inspo.”

  2. 24framesofnick★★★★★
“One of a kind forever and ever.”

  3. moviesrtherapy★★★★½
“What a delightfully kooky, sweet gem. This may be the closest thing to Ghibli genius that America will ever muster.”

  4. newt5996★★★★½
“Over the Garden Wall could easily be subtitled ‘A Fable for Children’ and I mean that in some of the best ways. Leaning heavily into the surrealist logic of fables and fairy tales…”

  5. halloweenhead★★★★★
“I try to watch this every autumn, and every time I’m left with the same warm, melancholy feeling. Just a beautiful piece of art.”
