Plot Synopsis
Set during the Japanese occupation of the Philippines in 1942, two American soldiers are captured and executed by a brutal enemy commander. One survives, horribly wounded, and is taken in by local guerrillas, where his trauma hardens into a relentless drive for revenge. As he embraces the chaos of jungle warfare, his surviving comrade becomes entwined with a village woman whose home and family are also caught in the violence. The conflict escalates into a vicious cycle of retribution, survival, and devastation as both men confront the hellish consequences of war.
