Reviews from Letterboxd:

  1. theironcupcake — ★★★½
“There simply aren’t enough sleazy, horny thrillers with a decidedly anti-cop bent … and hey, it’s the original Call Me title with a memorably erotic use of fruit!”

  2. Scott R — ★★★
“Loved this jazzy score, really lent itself to this one’s vibe very well. Also had some really nice cinematography in certain scenes. Technical aspects were probably my favourite part here.”

  3. SeriousEstelle — ★★
“Actually one of the worst scripted movies I have ever seen. It was always awkward, and often poorly delivered by a cast that had nothing to work with…”

  4. Brett Blake — ★★★
“A not-bad erotic thriller that focuses on blending kinky desire and danger. The plot … is basic Hitchcockian stuff, and that works fine enough as the vehicle for what the movie is really interested in…”

  5. Jesse Snoddon — ★★
“It’s just another awful New York story. Anna … finds her life changed when she mistakes an obscene phone caller for her boyfriend Alex and agrees to meet the person at a dive bar…”
