brundleflyby – ★★★½
“For a movie made on the cheap by a Canadian drive-in owner looking to make a quick buck, this wasn’t half bad. Your typical story of some thirty-something year old teenagers doing satanic rituals down at the graveyard and raising the dead. The gut fondling zombie action was pretty alright by ’74 standards, and the synth score goes a lot harder than I was expecting. Love the ‘gore alert’ that pops up whenever things are about to get too gross. Just a two second clip of an old dude in a suit about ready to barf up his lunch, it’s great!” -
misterrwhite – ★★½
“Super simple story. A group of young adults spend the night in a cemetery just for fun, and raise the dead with a few brief words. If only it were that easy, EVERYONE would be raising the dead and creating their own little local zombie apocalypse! The ‘look away’ scenes are pretty good, gory in a DIY way. The rest of the movie is completely underwhelming, it feels padded out even with its sixty one minute run time.” -
fritzcarlton – ★★
“This plays like a poorly remembered fever dream. The music slaps, the zombie makeup is gnarly, and the movie opens with a hilariously dry content warning. It’s got Canadian charm and a good spirit, but the pacing is off and the characters are forgettable.” -

“Corpse Eaters is a cool piece of regional horror. Low-budget and weird, it’s got some solid gore and a grimy feel that makes it feel like something you’d stumble on in the middle of the night on cable. Not great, but interesting.” -
steveasaurus – ★★½
“Cheap, dumb fun. Clearly made by folks who loved horror but didn’t know what they were doing. But sometimes that’s the best kind of drive-in trash.”
