Plot Synopsis:
Rem Ayanokōji appears to be a regular high school girl, but she’s actually a dream hunter—a spiritual detective who enters people’s dreams to battle demons and protect their sanity. Alongside her psychic cat Alpha and loyal dog Beta, she investigates supernatural threats that manifest within dreamscapes, from cursed paintings to possessed children. Originally conceived with explicit content, the series was later edited and continued in a more toned-down fashion, combining horror, fantasy, and light comedy in a classic 1980s anime style.
