Plot Synopsis:
A thousand years ago, a Taoist priest and his fairy disciples confront a demoness attempting to enter the human realm using a powerful artifact known as the Bead of Hell. After a fierce battle, one of the fairies, Yun Yuk-Yi, escapes to modern-day Hong Kong with the bead. There, she crosses paths with police captain Mambo, who finds himself caught in the middle of a supernatural struggle as the demoness reawakens and seeks vengeance.

   “An utter mess of a movie. Demoness from Thousand Years started out promising with a supernatural wuxia fight between good (Joey Wong) and evil (Meg Lam), but it quickly crumbled in on itself after that by becoming a sappy romantic comedy (cringe humour and Cantopop montages and all).”
