Plot Synopsis:
Dogra Magra is a surreal and psychological horror film centered on Kure Ichiro, a young man who awakens in a mental asylum with no memory of who he is or why he’s there. Two mysterious doctors, Professor Masaki and Professor Wakabayashi, try to convince him that he may have killed his wife. However, the boundaries between reality and madness quickly blur as Kure’s identity is questioned, leaving him in a maze of psychological manipulation, haunting visions, and hallucinatory experiences. The film explores themes of madness, memory, and the fragile nature of the human mind, all while delving into unsettling, dream-like sequences that challenge the viewer’s perception.
