Reviews from Letterboxd:

  1. spk-77★★★★
“Insanely charming and endlessly creative. Arale is an icon, and the show’s sense of humor is just as chaotic and delightful as anything Toriyama has done.”

  2. dalekempire★★★★★
“I wish more shows embraced this level of absurd joy. Everything is alive, everyone’s weird, and nothing makes sense—but it all feels so right.”

  3. kairi★★★★
“A riotous mix of puns, toilet jokes, and surrealism wrapped in vibrant animation. Not for everyone, but totally for me.”

  4. luckypunch★★★½
“Sometimes it’s too much, but I can’t help but laugh. The sheer energy and unpredictability are what make it memorable.”

  5. totorohugger★★★★★
“A beautiful, goofy mess of a show. Arale is a chaos gremlin with a heart of gold. Pure Saturday morning serotonin.”
