Plot Synopsis:
Reiko, a young and beautiful teacher, takes a teaching job at an old, run-down high school. The male students in her class are mesmerized by her beauty and become infatuated with her. One night, after tennis practice, she goes to the locker room to change and is viciously assaulted by a man wearing a stocking mask. She discovers that he has left a clue behind: a single piece of a jigsaw puzzle. Determined to uncover the identity of her attacker, Reiko embarks on a quest for answers, delving into the dark underbelly of the school and its inhabitants.

   “This is a tough one: on the one hand, this is a pretty well done entry in the Nikkatsu series of pink films, with solid cinematography, decent acting and a simple but well done plot, but on the other it is quite offensive in its subject matter and the way it is handled. The film tries to balance between being a serious drama and an exploitation flick, and while it succeeds in parts, it ultimately feels disjointed.”

   “Reiko (Rushia Santo) is a teacher who is working in a new school. It doesn’t take long for things to turn bad because she’s raped in the shower and soon after two of her students hold her captive and rape her some more. I’ve seen quite a few of these Nikkatsu pictures over the years but FEMALE TEACHER: IN FRONT OF THE STUDENTS is one of the wackiest out there. This film is so over-the-top with its sexual content that you can’t help but laugh at times. The performances are decent for what they are and the direction is competent, but this is certainly not a film for everyone.”
