“Spaghetti Western whodunnit in which the people responsible for convicting a wrongfully accused woman are hunted one by one by someone seeking revenge. Lots of extended shots of people standing or riding around help pad the runtime of this extended Gunsmoke or Rawhide episode to 79 minutes. Mostly forgettable with a lackluster transfer from MVD Classics.”

“A giallo western?!?! lol I never expected that at all cause It def had the vibes of one with the gloves and angles they shot the kills I was like wtf is going on here but It wasn’t bad and didn’t mind It at all cause feels a lil ahead of its time being a giallo with a twist in the end ! The plot of It was cool thou not my fav but def worked for It and keep me engaged all the way through ! The cast thou weren’t bad at all but didn’t have any flare to them which made them stand out so Ik I’ll forget these actors or not recognize em in another movie ! Overall thou It was a cool one time watch that I enjoyed”

“Fernando Casanova plays smalltown Sheriff Paul, trying his best to keep law & order in a proto-paella western you could call it, in a rural mystery who-doing-it mash-up, and a revenge tale, where a miscarriage of justice verdict, has a number of jury members singled out, and potentially threatened to be knocked off, one by one. The setting and location and the Italo-Hispano-Mex blend of actors, makes this an interesting odd little joint, that seems to be almost resisting its own euro leanings and flavor, even with Casanova in the lead. There’s some good ambient nighttime photography by Victor Herrera, whose similar duties got equal results in Joaquin Romeo Marchent’s ‘El Coyote’. Now by the halfway mark, the mystery element takes…”

“MVD Classics Blu-ray The skeletal structure of the film is an interesting one: a black gloved hidden identity killer goes through slowly killing off people involved in a trial of a convicted woman that accidentally died under a stagecoach. So it is part western, part giallo and part whodunit. Unfortunately the film itself is pretty average to boring. Never really having any cool shots, though there were some decent little flourishes it is all shot very straight forward. No character has depth as it only runs about 75 minutes. Its very tame in the violence department as well. So outside of a curiosity there isn’t much to remember from this one.”

“> Don’t attempt to avenge a death that no one’s to blame for. Swearing to avenge his sister’s death, run over by a stagecoach after fleeing a courtroom where she was wrongfully convicted, a cowboy rides into a small town and unsettles the local sheriff in this odd little western from Spain. The film has been cited as a whodunit with an Old West setting, but it is never quite as dynamic as that since the mystery element only pops up in the final half-hour as the jurors who sentenced the sister come to realise that one of them must have been the actual culprit and that their lives are at risk as a result. This in turn leads to some…”
