Reviews from Letterboxd
jefcostello – ★★★½
“This is a movie that really rewards a second viewing. It’s much funnier when you know it’s not just badly made nonsense but is actually meant to be weird, funny, and confusing. There’s a plot, kind of. But also telepathic chickens, teleporting martial artists, and a space cult or something. It’s amazing.”
alexkazam – ★★★★
“Absolutely absurd. An incredible mess of martial arts, surreal editing, and nonsensical storytelling that somehow becomes entertaining and charming by sheer audacity. A kung-fu fever dream.”
Justin Decloux – ★★★★
“One of the strangest martial arts movies I’ve ever seen. It feels like someone mashed together Enter the Dragon, a David Lynch student film, and a Power Rangers episode filmed on lunch break. Amazing.”
Zayne – ★★★
“It’s like watching a live-action anime episode from an alternate dimension. There’s psychic duels, clones, kung fu chickens, and it ends before you realize it began. Hard to recommend, yet I totally recommend it.”
BleedingSkull – ★★★★½
“This is peak outsider cinema. A kung fu movie made with enthusiasm instead of logic. It’s what happens when you let a bunch of martial artists make a film with no studio oversight. Glorious nonsense.”
