Reviews from Letterboxd:
- Matt Lynch – ★★★☆☆
“A wild mix of sci-fi adventure and campy fun. The practical effects are charming, and the story is a delightful throwback to pulp adventures. While it may not be a masterpiece, it’s an enjoyable ride for fans of vintage sci-fi.” - Sally Jane Black – ★★★★☆
“Latitude Zero is a hidden gem. The underwater utopia concept is intriguing, and the performances, especially by Joseph Cotten and Cesar Romero, add a layer of gravitas to the otherwise whimsical plot. The film’s ambition outpaces its budget, but that’s part of its charm.” - Andrew Nesbitt – ★★★½☆
“An entertaining blend of adventure and science fiction. The set designs and creature effects are highlights, showcasing the creativity of the era. Some plot elements are dated, but the film’s earnestness makes it worth a watch.”
