“Fresh is a uniquely satisfying thriller with some fun twists along the way and amazing lead performances from Daisy Edgar-Jones and Sebastian Stan. It’s a bit predictable at times but it never took me out of the story as the twisted ‘romantic’ dynamic between these two leads was totally captivating to see play out.”

“A predictable plot isn’t always a problem. Often times, the execution is 10x more interesting than the reveal. But when your movie doesn’t execute it well, then predictability does become a problem, as the audience no longer has anything to look forward to.”

  3. STEVEN★★★★★
“Fresh was my most anticipated film from this year’s Sundance lineup (after Final Cut pulled out), and had me feeling uneasy for its entire run. I understand why some aren’t going to like this because it bounces back and forth with black comedy and disgusting bits of violence while highlighting casual misogyny and other issues in the modern dating scene, which is a messy combination to even begin to think about.”

  4. eXcalibur11★★★★☆
“A great film from start to finish. Fresh manages to keep the audience engaged through a perfect balance of comedy and thriller horror. The acting of both Daisy Edgar-Jones and Sebastian Stan is superb, dynamic, and complementary of each other. If you’re looking for a ‘fresh’ take on a good horror movie, this is the one.”
