Plot Synopsis
In the small town of Glenwood Springs, an elderly man named Jake opens his ramshackle home to the neighborhood kids, telling stories about his days in the civil rights movement and giving them a place to feel seen and heard. When a ruthless developer arranges for Jake to be evicted so the property values can rise, the children decide to fight back the only way they can think of: they launch a town-wide bath strike. As families, schools, and city officials reel from the chaos of countless unwashed kids, the community is forced to confront questions of justice, empathy, and what — and who — really matters.
