Reviews from Letterboxd:
-
BlackPhilip – ★☆☆☆☆
“This was bad, really bad. But I expected it. Tacky costumes, cheap effects, and a story that feels like an afterthought. Still, there’s something oddly charming about how unapologetically dumb it is.” -
Spaghett – ★★★☆☆
“It’s absurd, gory, and the plot barely exists—but it’s fun in that ‘so bad it’s good’ way. If you love trashy zombie flicks, this one’s a ride.” -
Fisty – ★★★☆☆
“Ridiculous, yes. But the over-the-top action and gratuitous style give it its own weird charm. Feels like a video game adaptation—which it is.” -
haruspex – ★½☆☆☆
“I wanted more action and less awkward drama. Still, the camp factor made it bearable, and some of the fight scenes were genuinely entertaining.” -
stuzmoviereviews – ★★☆☆☆
“You’re not watching this for the story. You’re watching it for babes, blades, and blood. Mission accomplished, I guess.”
Meta Description:
Katana-wielding sisters in bikinis battle zombies in this cult Japanese action-horror flick based on the video game. Over-the-top gore, flashy costumes, and undead chaos make it a trashy genre gem for fans of bizarre cinema.
