R@peman 3
Reviews from Letterboxd:
- ElijahCSkuggs – ★★★★★
“The series continues with R@peman 3: Girls Gone Wild. After having great international success with the previous R@peman adventures, R@peman has returned, and just like previous efforts this hits all the right spots, just ask Yoko. In this installment, R@peman Services has uncovered a secret involvement between the City Police and the local drug-dealers. Obviously, R@peman and Uncle are very up to the cause and nothing will stop them from righting wrongs through penetration! Just like in the other R@peman adventures you’re supplied with some soft and steamy scenes, some very light-hearted humor, and an occasional twist or two. The R@peman series sounds like they may be awful hate-filled movies, but they are anything but. They’re fun detective-based flicks with a side dash of vengeance. If you’re into the R@peman series, this is definitely worth checking out. My favorite Pinku series.”

R@peman 4
Reviews from Letterboxd:
- Callisto – ★★☆☆☆
“This fourth entry may have found the most ‘justified’ reason for R@peman to r@pe someone. A guy’s fiancée just joined a religious cult. The only way she can get out of the cult is if she has s&x with someone outside of the cult. The reason the guy can’t do it is because he works for a politician. If word came out he raped his fiancée, that would be terrible for his career so he can’t do that. Keisuke and his uncle end up getting a tour of this religious cult’s headquarters to see what it’s all about (pyramid scheme and politics). They decide to become members themselves to get to the bottom of it.”
- Dakota Noot – ★★★☆☆
“R@peman is religious…because of course he is. While this didn’t quite match the third entry for me, this continues to be an improvement over the first two. There’s finally a coherent drama driving the story – and features a cult! A cult that he ends up saving? In real-life, the Tokyo subway sarin attack is a year away. Just like the offensive premise of the entire franchise, the cult storyline is presented in a strange, saccharine way. R@peman goes undercover in the cult – and even agrees with its ‘Father.’ You’re not learning any lessons from this superhero.”
- BjorkShandy – ★★½☆☆
“‘R@peman 4’ lacks the darker themes that gave the previous two installments the edge they needed to avoid feeling completely mundane and formulaic. ‘R@peman 4’ centers around a religious cult that ropes people in with a pyramid scheme. Many plot points center around the cult using people to gain money and with the already tired formula, it’s easy to see where the film is heading. ‘R@peman 4’ ends up feeling like more of a ‘King of Minami’ film than it does a seedy r@pe drama. There are only two r@pe scenes which is the least amount so far. Less r@pe is always a good thing… especially when the series is called ‘R@peman’.”
