Plot Synopsis
After the deep-space freighter Demeter 227 suffers catastrophic damage, a handful of its crew are forced into escape pods and crash-land on Vesta, an alien planet whose beauty masks brutality. Two groups—commander Sam with horticulturalist Ursula, and cargo specialist Azi with the robot Levi—navigate the strange ecosystem and the ship’s looming danger, while Kamen, isolated and haunted, forms a strange bond with a telepathic creature. As their paths converge, they must decide whether survival means escape, surrender or transformation.
