Plot Synopsis

   “A nice surprise and actually a pretty decent movie. Second Act isn’t very funny and it’s pretty standard fare but I’d be lying if I said this movie didn’t charm and entertain me throughout. It has such a big heart, some moments really touched me and Jennifer Lopez delivers one of her best performances in a while here.”

   “Second Act is a pretty mixed bag. It does have its heart in the right place, and Lopez is pretty good here, but this one wasn’t really for me. It becomes two different movies after a twist halfway through, and that’s where it simultaneously becomes better and worse. Just pretty meh overall.”
