Reviews from Letterboxd:

  1. 1bl15★★★☆☆
“Isn’t every world perfect up to the point their biological experiments explode and everyone has mandibles and sprouted exoskeleton-covered surplus limbs?”

  2. Keith & the Movies★★★☆☆
“It’s definitely a product of its time, but there’s a charm to how weird and imaginative it is. Feels like a fever dream of toys, bugs, and laser fights.”

  3. RetroNostalgia★★☆☆☆
“I had the toys as a kid and thought they were cooler than the show. Rewatching now, it’s clunky but kind of fun in that Saturday morning cartoon way.”

  4. ToonTimeMachine★★★☆☆
“The animation is pretty average, but the lore? Absolutely wild. Genetic mutations, insect warriors, sci-fi meets fantasy mayhem. I’m into it.”

  5. JunkDrawerCartoons★★★½☆
“Underrated gem from the 80s. Creepy bugs + telepathic bonds + high fantasy chaos. A neat bit of nostalgia, especially for fans of weird cartoons.”
