Plot Synopsis:
In the mid-1800s, trail guide Edward Beale leads a U.S. Cavalry expedition to test the viability of using camels for transport across the American Southwest. Along the journey, they are joined by Clint McDonald, a fugitive posing as a doctor, and his accomplice, Lilly, who is fleeing her criminal past. The expedition faces numerous challenges, including harsh desert conditions, attacks from Native American tribes, and internal conflicts, all while attempting to blaze a new trail to California.
