   “A William Shakespeare quote opens things up: ‘Like (As) flies to wanton boys are we to the gods; they kill us for their sport.’ Opening with a quote from King Lear gets ya nice and ready for the SOV artistry which is about to explode all over your stupid face… The early output of Eric Stanze is stellar, he’s one of the few backyard artists who was able to successfully express his ambition.”

   “Narratively eh – repetitive by nature and ends flaccidly, essentially a vehicle by which several vignettes can be strung together in a simulation of storytelling. But the technique on display here is like damn. For a first-timer dealing with the technical limitations imposed on him by video, Eric Stanze shows off that he’s meant to be making movies and ain’t nothing gonna stop him from showing off what he can do, chief.”
