“I can’t stop laughing at how the poster looks like Clara Bow is just a head with red scarf legs that snatch people!!!! what is going on!!!! (this was also my reaction to this movie when i realized the version of this that’s on youtube is so low quality that i could not tell any of the men apart and could hardly read the intertitles. sorry to these men???? what is the plot???)” - Rick Burin – ★★★★★
“Ah, Clara Bow. Often you’ll find yourself watching a ’20s movie, and see all the men in it cooing over some pan-faced woman with bad hair. ‘Well, tastes have changed,’ you’ll shrug conciliatorily, because you’re a nice guy. Eighty-seven years on, though, and you can still see why Clara Bow was the defining s&x symbol of her era: it’s not so much her looks, though these have never gone out of fashion, it’s more the er0tically-charged way she carries herself: her kittenish manner, the way she winds men around her little finger, or just jumps into their lap. Here she’s at her absolute best as a combustible bundle of s&x who heads to the country, and proceeds to drive all…” - Allison M. – ★★★☆☆
“Probably better than a 6/10, at least in the beginning. Before it falls into monotony, the film experiments with mirrors, swirling, and other interesting techniques which elevate the piece. Ultimately, the focus was on Clara Bow and unfortunately, we get an all too standard ending. Vegan alert: -Fishing -Crab reference”
