Oddwiring – ★★★☆☆
“Yes, it’s a mess. Yes, it makes little sense. Yes, the score rips off E.T. and Chariots of Fire. But Devil Fetus is a fascinating piece of HK horror history, full of practical effects, bizarre hallucinations, and unrestrained energy.”
Inhumanist – ★★★☆☆
“It’s pure chaos. There’s a demon fetus, melting faces, a possessed dog, and even a giant floating skull. The story barely holds together, but it’s got enough nightmarish visuals to leave a mark.”
Zombierose – ★★★★☆
“This is the kind of insane horror I live for. It’s sleazy, it’s gross, and it’s completely unhinged. A possession movie on crack with ghost dogs, cursed antiques, and buckets of goop.”
terralopez – ★★★☆☆
“Insane pacing, rubbery monsters, and some of the most confusing editing choices I’ve ever seen. A surreal slice of Hong Kong horror that feels like a fever dream.”
Staindman – ★★½☆☆
“Plot? Coherence? Nah. Just lots of weird visuals, green fog, glowing eyes, and demonic mayhem. Wild fun if you don’t mind the nonsense.”
