Reviews from Letterboxd:

  1. More_Badass – ★★★★☆
“A fusion of 13 Assassins’ tactical chess and Great Killing’s scrappy tension, condensed to 90 minutes of men-on-a-mission action. Eleven Samurai is at once the most conventionally plotted and most propulsively thrilling entry of Eiichi Kudo’s Samurai Revolution trilogy.”
  2. marshlandz – ★★★★☆
“Another tale of righteous revenge, pulpier and punchier than 13 Assassins and The Great Killing, with neither the stylistic refinement of the former or the messy farce of the latter but a more conventional thriller with lots of stop and start tension, and the slashing, oh my, the slashing.”
  3. chaos-rampant – ★★★☆☆
“The closing chapter in Eiichi Kudo’s Samurai Revolution trilogy is a reworking of the same story as the previous two, Thirteen Assassins and The Great Duel.”
