gregs1999 – ★★★☆☆
“Not as entertaining as the first film, but still had some enjoyable moments, especially the action and comedy. The love triangle was a little weird, and left a sour taste in my mouth by the end. Performances were decent.” -

“It’s excellent! Almost a shame it’s a sequel to a much better film. That ending really does cement this is pure greatness …” -
Slasaro – ★★★☆☆
“Super enjoyable sequel – With Corey Yuen acting and directing and star Jet Li, the action comes often and most of it is jaw dropping. A lot more comedy in this …” -
thesmark – ★★★½
“Stunt and fight wise it’s just as good as the first film. Comedy wise, it’s not bad. However at some point it maybe pushes that button too hard and we skid into a few too many, too silly of gags. Still, impressive production. I love the whole raft-surfing stuff.” -
Tacobill69 – ★★★★☆
“The Legend of Fong Sai Yuk II is good. It’s not quite as fun as the first, and maybe goes a little too cartoony at times (the two scenes with excessive sweating?). Still, even as a film on autopilot, the fight scenes are really well done, and there is some good humor here and there.”
