MoVieManKev – ★★★☆☆
“The Godfather plot is serviceable enough but it’s really just an excuse to string some good …” -
AJ Clay – ★★★☆☆
“Absolutely no idea what was going on here, lads, but the fight scenes were bloody great and the foley lad was having the time of his LIFE.” -
COBB – ★★★★☆
“A little gem where the criminal plot is a sleazy pantomime (ballsy rip off choice) that is seasoned with some pretty badass fights, styled but also quite organic and wild. In the sound section, the English dubbing and the ultra-powered effects shine by themselves.” -
RealJohnGrace – ★★★☆☆
“Billy Chong and Carl Scott are placed in various action scenarios working off Bruce Lee riffs from Fist of Fury and The Big Boss. Excellent, high energy choreography marred only by the movie’s sluggish plagiarism of tropes from The Godfather. Wish Chong and Scott had done more Hong Kong work…” -
Peneke – ★★★★☆
“Billy Chong, a sort of Bruce Lee-type, dishes out punches like loaves of bread… The fights are very inventive though the plot is a little flabby.”
