Plot Synopsis:
Two strangers, Jerzy and Marta, find themselves assigned to the same sleeping compartment on an overnight train to the Baltic Sea coast. As the journey progresses, tensions rise among the passengers when it’s revealed that the police are searching for a murderer believed to be on board. Suspicions mount, and both Jerzy and Marta become entangled in the unfolding mystery.

   “Night Train is the first film I’ve seen from highly rated Polish director Jerzy Kawalerowicz and it’s a highly impressive film too! The film takes on a Hitchcockian style, although Kawalerowicz’ directorial style is more sombre than Hitchcock’s and the film straddles the line between thriller/mystery and drama excellently.”
