Plot Synopsis:
In the Tokugawa era, the newly appointed Shogun, Toyochiyo, is more interested in scholarly pursuits than in women. Seeking to exploit this, a nobleman conspires with a female thief to replace the Shogun with his look-alike, Kakusuke, a lowly back scrubber from a public bathhouse. Kakusuke, a notorious womanizer, eagerly embraces his new role, indulging in the pleasures of the court and the company of numerous women.
