Reviews from Letterboxd:
-
andydroid – ★★★☆☆
“I don’t remember much about this cartoon other than the skeletons looked awesome, and I had at least two of the toys. But even rewatching the intro is a nostalgia bomb. That theme song still goes hard.” -
gabrielvin – ★★☆☆☆
“Conceptually cool but kind of a mess. Some of the animation is nice, but the pacing and dialogue are way too clunky. Still, props for going all in on the skeletal aesthetic.” -
giallograveyard – ★★★☆☆
“Skeleton Warriors was a bizarre but rad part of the Saturday morning cartoon lineup. Loved the designs, even if the story was over-the-top dramatic.” -
hectormann – ★★★½
“Grimskull was the coolest. I wanted to be him as a kid. Still love the idea of bio-mechanical skeletons fighting in a magical tech world.” -
animatednostalgia – ★★★★☆
“Definitely a cult classic. Underrated designs, solid voice work, and a very ambitious world. The animation might feel dated now, but the charm is timeless.”
