Plot Synopsis
In 1991, Iraqi commandos infiltrate a secret U.S. government laboratory and set off an explosion, accidentally releasing genetically engineered rattlesnakes. The snakes breed undisturbed underground for years. When seismic tremors later push them to the surface, their bites transmit a fatal virus that infects victims systemically. A small‐town doctor works to contain the outbreak, but a government cover-up and military interference complicate attempts at a cure.
