Reviews from Letterboxd:
-
Screenager – ★★★★
“The only movie with rock’n’roll-powered zombies, alien invasions, exploding heads, true love, gender acceptance, and Guitar Wolf saving the world. Insanely good and unapologetically punk.” -
Brandon – ★★★★½
“Few films scream ‘cult classic’ louder than this. Utterly bonkers from beginning to end, with a killer soundtrack and a beautiful message about love and identity.” -
SLiV – ★★★★
“It’s stupid, hilarious, punk, cheesy, and incredibly fun. This is the kind of midnight movie you show your friends just to watch their jaw drop.” -
cinemazov – ★★★★½
“Punk rock zombies, alien attacks, motorcycles, machine guns, and Guitar Wolf shouting ‘ROCK N ROLL!’ It’s glorious chaos with a heart of gold.” -
epilepticmoondancer – ★★★½
“Campy as hell and totally off the rails. It’s like if Troma made a J-horror rock musical—and I mean that as a compliment.”
