Reviews from Letterboxd:
-
codylamar – ★★★½
“Imagine that police station scene from The Terminator, but with a supernatural villain possessing a spiky blue glowing laser penis. Now put that scene into a goofy Hong Kong action-horror-coming-of-age-s&x comedy.” -
Pretaura – ★★★★
“Hong Kong horror never fails to be outlandishly fun. I didn’t expect brain-eating demons, a bizarre bisexual vampire, and s&xual absurdities all in one flick — but I’m so glad it delivered.” -
CinemaSleaze – ★★★
“Soaked in fog, neon, and goo — this Category III oddity is part horror, part softcore, all bonkers. It tries a bit of everything and somehow lands on its feet.” -
VideoVortexJunkie – ★★★½
“This is exactly the kind of insanity you watch at midnight. Taoist rituals, brain slurping, and s&xual possession? Count me in.” -
AsianTrashCinema – ★★★★
“More demons! More slime! More unnecessary s&x scenes! It’s chaotic, raunchy, violent and pure Hong Kong sleaze — and I loved every minute.”
