“The use of color is audacious, the practical gore effects are surreal, and it’s just a masterpiece of creative madness. Pure cult cinema.” - Gentry – ★★★★½
“A relentless psychedelic splatterfest with some of the most bizarre imagery I’ve ever seen. Easily one of the best Shaw Brothers horror films.” - Michael Walsh – ★★★★
“Every bit as weird and wild as its reputation suggests. Start to finish a bizarre film, full of creative practical effects and nightmare logic.” - Milko – ★★★★
“This film grossed me out in the best possible way. It’s gross, it’s weird, but it’s endlessly entertaining.” - Jeremy N. – ★★★★
“Less like a martial arts movie and more like a gooey nightmarish fever dream. Imagine Jodorowsky meets Fulci.”
