Plot Synopsis:
Psychologist Chris Kelvin is sent to investigate the strange behavior of the crew aboard a research station orbiting the mysterious planet Solaris. After arriving, Kelvin discovers the station in disarray and its surviving crew members unwilling to explain what has happened. Soon, he is confronted by Rheya, his wife who died years earlier, seemingly alive and unaware of how she came to be there. As Kelvin struggles to understand the phenomenon, he is forced to confront his memories, grief, and the possibility that Solaris is somehow giving physical form to the deepest parts of the human mind.
