Plot Synopsis: Kenneth Winslow is a socially awkward and painfully shy technical writer whose lonely existence takes a disturbing turn when he purchases a lifelike silicone doll named Nikki. Initially finding comfort and companionship in his unusual new relationship, Kenneth gradually develops an unhealthy obsession with the doll, treating her as though she were a real woman. When he begins dating his coworker Lisa, his carefully constructed fantasy starts to unravel, and Kenneth becomes convinced that Nikki is jealous of his newfound romance. As his obsession deepens, the boundaries between reality and delusion collapse, leading him down an increasingly violent and terrifying path.
