Plot Synopsis:
Choi Hyeon, a professor living in Beijing, returns to South Korea for the funeral of an old friend. The visit stirs memories of a mysterious painting he once saw in a teahouse in Gyeongju, prompting him to make an impulsive trip to the historic city. There he meets Gong Yoon-hee, the teahouse’s enigmatic owner, and the two form a tentative connection as Hyeon wanders through a landscape filled with memories, grief, desire, and reminders of the past.
