Plot Synopsis:
In 1930s Marseille, notorious gangster Roberto Borgo arrives to help his longtime friend Xavier Saratov, who has been framed for murder. Over the following years, the friends endure prison, war, dangerous attempts at freedom, and a changing criminal landscape where old loyalties are increasingly difficult to preserve.
