Plot Synopsis:
As Japan’s feudal era approaches its end, ronin Toranosuke Sugi finds himself caught amid the political turmoil and violence surrounding the collapse of the shogunate. Rescued as a sickly child and raised by master swordsman Mohei Ikemoto, Toranosuke grows into a skilled but compassionate warrior. With rival factions battling for control and those around him choosing opposing sides, he struggles to remain faithful to his mentor’s teachings while confronting a rapidly changing Japan in which the samurai way of life is disappearing.
